I think when a person commit a crime over and over. It means he has addiction of crime. The three-strikes law is reasonable because it gives people more than twice opportunities to improve themselves. So, when the person is a three-striker, he should be locked up for his whole life. On the other hand, judges and prosecutors must be judge prisoner carefully, especially other cities or countries because they may have different behavior or nationality of local people.

Dear Aiden, I am Eva. My school number:2092200084 In my opinion, I think that the Three Strikes law shouldn't be used to send nonviolent criminals to prison. There are three reasons. Firstly, the Punishment must be in proportion to the crime. Secondly, because the law increases the length of sentences, it has raised the average length of stay for the prison population. The government needs more money to build new prisons, and as inmates age, the cost of housing them increases due to age-related illness and the associated health care costs. Finally, it will make the high tax for the citizens. There are no advantages between the government and nonviolent crimes. In conclusion, it's a very severe law, the one that takes away a person's freedom for life. It's not something to be applied just because we're mad at bad behavior. Only violent crimes are serious enough to warrant such a drastic sentence.

In my point of view, I don't believe that nonviolent criminals should punish by sending them into prison for rest of their lives. Yes, they made a mistake that is for sure. But they don't have to pay for rest of their lives to regret and correct their mistakes. Most of criminals grow up in a bad condition. They made a mistake when they were young. Sometimes they want to have brighter life, but there are too many temptations, or the environment limited that causes the criminals did it again and again. Put them in the jail is not a best way to them. They also need someone to help them to go the right way and support them after they go back to the society. Maybe some of them will do it again and again. But I still want to believe that the human nature is goodness.

Dear Aiden. I'm Charlie. It's glad to have another special experience of this recording assignment. I think it's not appropriate to send the nonviolent criminals into jail for their whole life because they didn't commit a very serious crime. Therefore, I suggest the government may put those nonviolent criminals in jail for an extremely long period of time instead of a whole life, or they may assign them to help our society. In my person opinion, I half-and-half agree that nonviolent criminal should be send prison for the rest of their lives. If someone were the first of nonviolent crime, he or she would need one more chance to mend his or her nonviolent behavior.
